Max Verstappen Biography

Max Verstappen is a F1 driver currently racing for Red Bull Racing. He was born in Hasselt, Belgium on 30/09/1987.

Max Verstappen has a salary estimated at $55.000.000 and until now he reached 97 podiums and 2560.5 points in the current World Championship. He has 3 World Championship Titles and a total of 184 Grand Prix Races.

Max Emilian Verstappen comes from a racing lineage, being the son of former Formula One driver Jos Verstappen and Sophie Kumpen. His early racing career saw remarkable success in karting and single-seater categories such as KF3, KF2, KF1, KZ2, KZ1, and FIA European Formula 3, where he broke multiple records.

Making his F1 debut at 17 during the 2015 Australian Grand Prix, he set the record for the youngest driver in the sport. Initially racing with Scuderia Toro Rosso in 2015, he began the 2016 season with the same team but was soon promoted to Red Bull Racing, replacing Daniil Kvyat after four races. His debut race with Red Bull at the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix saw him clinch victory, marking him as the youngest and the first Dutch driver to win a Formula One Grand Prix.

His success continued when he emerged victorious in the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, making history as the first Dutch driver to secure the Formula One World Championship title, and becoming the 34th individual to achieve this feat.

Verstappen continued to dominate by winning the F1 championships consecutively in 2022 and 2023. As of the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix, his winning tally stands at 49 victories and 30 pole positions. At the 2021 French Grand Prix, he achieved his career’s first hat-trick and followed it with a grand slam at the 2021 Austrian Grand Prix. He replicated this remarkable achievement at the 2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, 2023 Spanish Grand Prix, and 2023 Qatar Grand Prix. Verstappen is slated to stay with Red Bull Racing through at least 2028, following a contract extension.
